Prayer

First of all, then, I ask that requests, prayers, petitions, and thanksgiving be made for all people.

~1 Timothy 2:1 CEB

Prayer is an important part of our Christian faith. By prayer, we connect with God and each other. By prayer, we are drawn into God’s presence. By prayer, we are transformed and renewed. We believe that prayer is such an important part of our lives that we try to offer every avenue for prayer. On Sundays, we share and lift up concerns, petitions, and joys during Sunday School and Worship. Throughout the week, we receive prayer concerns through email, Facebook, our church website, and our Community Prayer Box.

We want our community to know that no matter what you are going through, we are here for you and we will pray with you. If you can’t make it on Sunday, just send an email or drive by our Community Prayer Box and drop us a note.

Blessings,

Rev. David Teel, pastor

Manna for Kids

Manna for Kids

Thank you for making our Manna for Kids Mission so successful for the last two years. Without your help, we could not make this worthwhile service possible. It’s time for our annual food drive. We need individual/single food items or money donations (we can use to buy food). Examples: Breakfast: Cereal, pop tarts, oatmeal, cereal bars, etc. Fruit: Applesauce, peaches, pears, mixed fruit, etc. Lunch & Dinner: pasta, mac n’ cheese, ramen noodles, tuna, chicken or ham salad kits, vienna sausage, etc. Snacks: chips, fruit snacks, crackers, pudding, jello, cookies, granola bars, nuts, juice, etc.

Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come

For the next two years, Forrest Chapel and Moss Chapel UMC’s have committed to “join a Missional Renaissance and engage in developing strategies for becoming” an externally focused community of Christ. This will include at least four full-day Summits with all participants. If you haven’t already joined the Kingdom Come movement, I want to invite you to prayerfully consider doing so. Soon we will be sharing ways our congregations and communities can join us on this Kingdom journey.
