My name is Trent Salter, and I am blessed to be the pastor of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church. Originally from Montgomery and then later growing up in Madison, I first graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology before completing my Master of Divinity program at Louisville Theological Seminary in Kentucky.
I have had the privilege of serving Equality Methodist Church, Tanner United Methodist Church, & Greenhill United Methodist Church as senior pastor, and most recently come from serving Cullman First United Methodist Church as Associate Pastor under Rev. Josh Hickman.
It is my pleasure to be here at Forrest Chapel, where you will find open hearts, open minds, and open doors. For those of you curious as to what’s going on over here, please come and join us! You will be treated to a warm greeting, eager worship, and God willing, a good sermon! For those looking for a new or returning church home, it would be our pleasure to have you find a place in our pews, and then beyond our doors! Together, we respond to God’s call, growing in faith, love and action, becoming greater disciples of Christ.
